7/6/23 – Page under construction, but information is accurate.

Welcome! I'm so happy you're here! To request an appointment:
  1. Click on the Scheduling tab in the website menu.
  2. Scroll down just a smidge, and you'll find a form for new clients.
  3. Please fill this form out, and I'll reach out soon to discuss scheduling.
This form is instrumental in learning about you and making sure my skills match your goals.
  • Please do not call or email me to schedule an appointment. Filling out this form is the secret password needed to talk to me about scheduling. We cannot discuss the calendar until this form has been submitted. 🙂
At this time, I do not offer prenatal massage or have training to work with prenatal clients. If you are looking for a massage therapist who specializes in prenatal massage, please feel free to reach out for recommendations.
Gift certificates are exclusively sold for existing clients who have previously received a massage at Revitalize Your Roots. I do not offer gift certificates for new clients. If you wish to purchase a gift for an existing client, please reach out to me via phone or email. I will send you a link where you can pay securely online with a credit card, and receive an electronic gift card.
I'm a one-massage therapist, and one-room studio, show. At this time, I am unable to offer couples massages or multiple appointments at the same time.
Revitalize Your Roots is located in Inglewood's Riverside Village at 1404 McGavock Pike, Suite B, Nashville, TN 37216. Free, off-street parking is available within the Riverside Village area. Scroll to the bottom of this page for a highlighted parking map.
There is a strict 48-hour cancellation policy.

48 hours notice is required when canceling and rescheduling. If less than 48 hours notice is given, clients will be charged the full, undiscounted amount of their session. When scheduling an appointment, clients are acknowledging that they are responsible for payment of the session. Courtesy reminders are sent 49 hours before each appointment (via email and text).

Short answer: No, you don't have to!

You have the choice to undress completely or leave your underwear and bra on. One is not better than the other, and neither will affect the quality of your massage. This choice is for your comfort. During the massage, your body will be draped with a sheet and blanket at all times, so you should never feel "exposed." If you prefer to remain completely clothed, just let me know and we can discuss some options!

Oh, friend. I. Do. Too.

This is a no-flute music studio! 🙂 (Actually, it's a 99.99999% no-flute music studio. I have one song on a playlist I rarely use that has a few seconds of flute in it, but that's it.)

Heck no, you don't have to! Your body never needs to look a certain way to receive massage. If you do shave your legs before the massage, please do so at least 24 hours before. Shaving can leave small nicks or cuts that could become irritated (or even infection) during massage. (P.S. I don't even shave when I get a massage.)
Absolutely! If your body is saying you could use some rest, by all means use the time to relax.

P.S. Snoring is also one of the greatest compliments I can receive. (For real.)

Before your appointment we’ll chat about what’s bothering you and areas you feel need work. Your massage may include work on the scalp, face, neck, shoulders, upper chest (decolletage), arms, hands, back, glutes (that’s your bum!), legs, and feet. You are not required to have any part of your body touched that you’re not comfortable with. I do not work on breast tissue. I’m a professional, licensed massage therapist and have a zero tolerance policy for sexual harrassment.
I understand that, and I don’t always love the way my body looks either. But you and I both know that even the bodies we think are “perfect” are just a photoshopped lie. Bodies come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and textures. You’re not required to look a certain way to receive massage therapy. I’m focusing on your muscles and how your soft tissue feels so that we can address areas of pain or tension. I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed while on the table, so if you have a concern or there’s something that can be done to help you feel more at ease, let’s chat about it.
Typically, you will be face up and/or face down on the table. There is a comfy face cradle so you will be able to keep your neck straight and breathe. 🙂 Depending on your body and what we’re working on, lying on your side is also an option.

I incorporate small, gentle stretches for shoulders and hips, but there's not a lot of movement. I do offer more stretching, when requested, or if I feel it may be helpful with an issue we're working with.

I take payment via credit card, debit card, HSA/FSA, and cash. (No Venmo, CashApp, etc.) For first time clients, a deposit is required to hold our appointment time. This will be emailed to you to be paid via card.
Every day! Just kidding, but that would be amazing!

After your first massage we’ll talk about rescheduling based on your budget, availability, goals and my suggestions. Because I work best with those who want massage therapy to be a long term part of their health and wellness goals, I ask that all clients commit to a routine…and you get to define what routine looks like for you (even if it's once a year for your birthday!).
